/ledger/files/2026-10-14-boe-negotiations-committee-email.txt). The committee's email came
from a no-reply address, so the reply was sent as a forward of that email to the district's
general address, contactus@westorangeschools.org. The text is reproduced as sent, without the
forwarded email. In the original, the words "to use AI well and responsibly" were in italics.

Quite a few of us parents are puzzled about the true meaning of this email.

At least one of us caught the " ?utm_source=chatgpt.com" in the URL for most the cited articles at the end of the email.

I have offered my help in using advanced tooling like AI to modernize the district in most of my 3-minute BoE meeting pitches, specifically intending to use AI well and responsibly.

That offer still stands.
